24 August 2026 (Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain): KIMSHEALTH Group, a leading provider of healthcare services, has successfully concluded its interactive summer camp, “Discover Healthcare”, held at KIMSHEALTH Hospital in Umm Al Hassam. The camp received more than 100 registration requests, with 50 participants selected to take part in its first edition. The three-day educational experience featured 9 specialised sessions delivered by a number of experts and specialists from the Group.
The camp offered participants a comprehensive hands-on experience that enabled them to gain closer insight into the world of healthcare. Participants were introduced to the various professions and roles that make up the hospital ecosystem, from senior management and medical services to nursing and different functions and specialties. This helped them develop a broader understanding of how hospitals operate and how different teams work together to deliver patient care.
The camp’s activities included specialised sessions, interactive activities, educational games, and the production of videos as part of the programme. Participants explored a range of health topics relevant to their daily lives, including nutrition and wellness, skincare, the importance of limiting excessive use of digital devices, the role of physiotherapy, and the importance of maintaining correct body posture.
The experience also enabled participants to acquire practical skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid, and to take part in educational activities and challenges that combined learning, entertainment, and teamwork. These activities enhanced their ability to understand health concepts and apply them in a practical manner.
The programme also included a tour of the hospital, featuring a visit to the operating room and an introduction to the working environment across its various facilities and services. Participants also had the opportunity to meet doctors, members of the senior management team, and staff from different departments and specialties.
In addition, they were able to have lunch with a number of doctors and management members in an interactive setting that allowed them to ask questions and gain a closer understanding of the nature of work in the healthcare sector and the diverse career paths it offers.
