Bahrainis Can Officially Get their Hands on Pickl’s Award-winning Burgers

Kingdom of Bahrain: Pickl, the Dubai-born brand has opened its first restaurant in the Kingdom at Al Aali Mall on January 31, 2023, in partnership with Zayani Foods, the food and beverages arm of Al Zayani Investments Group, giving Manama residents a taste of Pickl’s highly acclaimed cheese burgers, chicken sandos, and plant-based burgers.

With floor to ceiling windows on all sides and Pickl’s signature pink and teal colours on full show, the restaurant is a stunning addition to Seef District, which is set to become a foodie destination in Bahrain.

Pickl Al Aali Mall now offers the full trifecta menu of beef, chicken, and plant-based burgers, all free-from preservatives, hormones, and antibiotics. Guests can now bespoke their own cheese burgers using a variety of toppings and sauces, or enjoy their chicken sandos in a range of spice options – Plain, Medium-ish, Feel the Heat, Nashville, and Reaper.

Guests can also enjoy Pickl’s indulgent Gooder Milkshakes, an unmissable selection of loaded fries, and fresh fried chicken tenders.

Pickl Al Aali Mall showcases all of the design features that helped make the brand such a success in the UAE. From the iconic “ORDER HERE” and “PICK UP” signs to the double height ceilings and raw finishes, the latest Pickl fully translates the original restaurants’ modern and industrial feel. With natural light flooding through the floor to ceiling glass windows, Pickl Al Aali Mall is sure to be a popular venue for the lunchtime crowd as well as those dining out in the evening.

Pickl has been crowned Best Burger at the Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards 2022 and Best Fried Chicken and Restaurant of the Year at the Deliveroo Restaurant Awards, and now the people of Bahrain will be able to try it for themselves.

For his part, Mr. Steve Flawith, Founder and CEO of Pickl, stated: “Bahrainis have been shouting for Pickl for a long time, so we’re delighted to finally give them what they want. Many Bahrain residents have already tried the brand in the UAE, with Pickl hosting a “Burgers for Bahrain” activation for the past six weeks, allowing Bahrain CPR holders to eat for free, driving up anticipation for the brand to finally open in Manama.

Excitement for Pickl to open has also been building thanks to a series of activations held across Bahrain over the past two months, including “Dunk for Pickl” at Up and Down Park and “Padel for Pickl” at Bahrain Padel, with winners taking home vouchers they can reclaim for burgers once Pickl launches.
