Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain – September XX, 2026: AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF) has announced the selection of the 16th batch of eligible students to receive scholarships under the “Rayaat” Scholarship Program for the academic year 2026–2027. The selected scholars will enroll in several leading universities across the Kingdom of Bahrain across diverse academic disciplines.
This milestone reflects MKF’s commitment to investing in national talent and preparing qualified professionals capable of advancing sustainable development and fueling Bahrain’s knowledge-based economy. The scholarships under Rayaat include the HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Scholarship, as well as the H.H Sh. Moza bint Hamad Al Khalifa Medical Scholarship, funded through the H.H Sh. Moza bint Hamad Al Khalifa Fund.
Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, stated:

The program partners with reputable public and private higher education institutions across Bahrain, including the University of Bahrain (UOB), Bahrain Polytechnic, Ahlia University, the British University of Bahrain (BUB), Bangor University and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) programs at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), the University of Technology Bahrain (UTB), the American University of Bahrain (AUBH), and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI Bahrain) for medical scholarships.
Notably, this academic year features an expanded collaboration with Ahlia University to introduce a dedicated scientific research scholarship—requiring recipients to conduct rigorous research alongside their degree studies. In addition, an increased number of scholarship seats has been allocated at the British University of Bahrain.
The Rayaat program underscores MKF’s dedication to equipping Bahraini youth with qualitative educational opportunities aligned with market demands.
